Callithumpian Consort

I was enamoured with Callithumpian Consort as a student at NEC -- the group was playing exciting, vibrant music unlike anything I'd heard before. (Literally, my jaw dropped.) I'm happy to have performed several concerts with the group, including premiering works by Christian Wolff, Chaya Czernowin, and D. Edward Davis, and causing a general ruckus with works by John Cage, Galina Ustvolskaya, and many others.

I've also been involved with SICPP ("Sick Puppy") since 2012, a week-long summer festival dedicated to contemporary American music. My initial involvement was as a "Super Delegate," aka a Callithumpian musician who performs works alongside student groups in the marathon Iditarod concert. I then started attending the Electronics Workshop as a student (while being a Super Delegate), and in 2015, Neal Markowski and I assumed the role of Technical Assistants for the Workshop. In 2016 I'll be continuing my role as a Technical Assistant, while performing with Callithumpian.

Because Callithumpian is nothing if not DIY to the extreme, I also manage the website content, and you can chat with me over Twitter-- @callithumpian and @SICPP. :)
